We appreciate all the support and involvement our alumni, industry, government and community provide the ECIC each year.
Supporting us means supporting the next generation of future employees and employers to receive the best educational experience possible during their time at university.
Sponsors are a vital part of the Australian eChallenge. Each year our sponsors have the opportunity to:
- Network with progressive and like-minded companies/organisations
- Build business opportunities
- Associate their brand with the University of Adelaide
- Support and encourage the best and upcoming entrepreneurial minds in South Australia (and beyond)
There are also many opportunities to be a mentor to our eChallenge participants. The aim of the mentoring scheme is to assist teams with building a robust, realistic business model with a view to possible commercialisation. Mentors are professionals who donate their time to the Australian eChallenge. These volunteers have experience with writing business plans and/or building great companies. While their free time is in short supply, mentors have pledged to help teams develop and refine their business plan.
If you would like more information about sponsoring South Australia's premier student entrepreneurial competition, or becoming a mentor, please contact Zrinka Tokic, Australian eChallenge Manager.
Your organisation can provide our students with an internship. Internships are mutually beneficial - you are able to introduce quality graduates to your organisation, potentially freeing up employees to get on with higher level tasks, while they also contribute to our students’ overall education and university experience as they apply the theoretical knowledge from their studies to your workplace and projects.
Our interns are garnered with fresh ideas, solutions and enthusiasm, and ready to pass on the latest knowledge and ideas from their studies onto your organisation.

Leaving a gift through donation now or a legacy through your Will can help in many ways. Whether you wish to support a student setting up their own business, get an international experience by spending time in one of our overseas incubators or in completing a research degree. Your gift could also extend the reach of our support services for start-ups and social ventures, or support the research and thought leadership offered in the centre. No matter the size of the gift it will support ECIC students or researchers in their endeavours.
If you would like to talk with someone to discuss your gift, please contact James Litt, Development Officer.
