About the Program

The Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship delves into the fascinating world of entrepreneurship and the role innovation plays in creating new ventures – no matter whether it’s for a large corporation, your own business, a not-for-profit, or community organisation.

The program explores such issues as:

What is Entrepreneurship?

  • Is it based in Economics, or Psychology, or Social Behaviour?
We use all of these disciplines to learn to act entrepreneurially, it doesn’t always come naturally to most of us!

What is Innovation?

  • Is it just new technology?
Sometimes, but new ways of doing business are also innovative.
  • Do we need creativity to innovate?
We can learn to become more creative in our ideas, problem solving, and approach to life.
  • What is the difference between creativity and innovation?
We can assess whether new inventions or ideas are innovations. Transformation of ideas and innovations into action is required. Entrepreneurship is all about action.
